General Information
Acquired in 2003, this 274 acre-parcel of land straddles Essex and King & Queen Counties, and is located within the Dragon Run Watershed. The MP-PAA manages 137 acres of the tract as public open space, while the VDOF manages the remaining 137 acres as a state forest. The MP-PAA manages the property for long-term, passive and low impact public access, natural resource protection and sustainability, and traditional uses, such as forestry and hunting. There are 9 public hunting zones available for big game, small game and waterfowl hunting. Four hunters are allowed per zone and each hunter must be registered.  The zones have been established as a general guide for hunting areas.  Please respect other hunters in other zones.  Handicap users, with handicap plates or hang tags may drive in
